Oudervereniging
De Oudervereniging (OV) bestaat uit ouders die het leuk vinden en de mogelijkheid hebben om zich extra bezig te houden met het basisschoolleven van hun kind(eren). Deze vrijwillige commissie ondersteunt de school met verschillende activiteiten, welke zowel bijdragen aan het gemeenschapsgevoel als aan de educatieve onderwerpen.
De OV organiseert bijvoorbeeld de Sinterklaasviering, het Kerstdiner, het lente-ontbijt, het afscheid van groep 8 en andere vieringen die een afspiegeling zijn van de diversiteit van onze school. We versieren het podium 2 keer per jaar naar aanleiding van het boekenweekthema en de musical van groep 8. Om de saamhorigheid te vergroten, worden maandelijks koffie-ochtenden voor de ouders georganiseerd, en twee keer per jaar een borrel voor de ouders.
Maar we gaan verder dan alleen de feestelijkheden. De OV voorziet iedere klas jaarlijks van een extra bedrag dat ten goede komt aan de thema’s binnen het OGO-onderwijs of andere zaken die niet vallen onder de standaard schooluitgaven (denk bijvoorbeeld aan batterijen, een knikkerbaan, enz). Verder zijn het jaarlijks verversen van het zand in onze buitenspeeltuin ’t Zuintje mooie voorbeelden van waar de OV kan bijdragen.
We bekostigen deze activiteiten met de jaarlijkse (vrijwillige) ouderbijdrage.
Als u, naast deze bijdrage, wilt helpen met de oudervereniging, stuur ons een email of spreek met een ouder van de OV op een van de koffie-ochtenden. We zijn altijd op zoek naar nieuwe leden of hulp bij specifieke activiteiten.
Ook kunt u helpen als klassenouder of word lid van de medezeggenschapsraad (MR).

Hulp bij het betalen van de ouderbijdrage
Als u hulp kunt gebruiken bij het betalen van de ouderbijdrage, komt u misschien in aanmerking voor hulp (klik hier)hier. Als uw kind een stadspas heeft, kan de ouderbijdrage hiermee betaald worden (zie hier) hier.
Bij vragen over de activiteiten of de inkomsten- uitgaven, mail dan gerust de OV!

Parents’ Association
The Parents’ Association (Oudervereniging, OV) is one of the ways in which parents can get more involved with school life. This volunteer committee supports the school with different activities that both contribute to the feeling of community and the educational goals of the school.
For example, the OV organizes the Sinterklaas morning, as well as the Christmas dinner, the Spring breakfast, the farewell party for Group 8, and other celebrations that reflect the diversity of our school. We also decorate the podium according to the theme, at least twice per year for the book wee theme and the Group 8 musical. And, to promote cohesion, organize coffee mornings and a yearly party for the parents.
But we go beyond ‘just’ the fun stuff. We also support the teachers with some money towards buying material for their class that follows the themes and the OGO methodology but falls outside the school budgets (from batteries to a new marble run and anything in between). Our garden, ‘t Zuintje, is another great example of what the school community can do through the OV.
We support these activities with the parental contribution (ouderbijdrage), a voluntary fee that we ask from parents each year.
If you’d like to get involved beyond paying the contribution, please reach out by email or talk directly to one of the OV parents during one of the coffee mornings. We are always on the lookout for new members or supporters who can co-organize and run the different activities we plan.
Or look for opportunities as class parent (klassenouder), or a member of the Participation Council of the school (medezegenschapsraad, MR).

If you need support paying the parental contribution
If you have a low-income, you may qualify for different forms of financial support from the municipality. You can find more information here. If your child has a Stadspas, then you can pay the parental contribution through the Stadspas. See here.
